After resetting the cartridge, you can choose to utilize the remaining ink, or refill yourself. Beware that if you continue to use the cartridge without refilling, you have to monitor the ink level closely. Change the cartridge immediately when the ink runs out.

The first step to utilize all those wasted ink is to know how to reset the ink counter. The ink counter determines the amount of ink left in the cartridge. Most epson cartridges can be resetted using our resetting device. Canon printers can be resetted using the built-in printer software. HP and lexmark can be resetted by rotating (at least 3) cartridges.
